Insurance Information

Understanding Your Coverage

Insurance coverage for psychiatric services can vary depending on your insurance company, specific plan, and the services you receive.

Before scheduling care, it's helpful to understand your mental health benefits, including any copayments, deductibles, referral requirements, or other out-of-pocket costs that may apply.

Visit our Insurance page for more information about insurance and questions you may want to ask your insurance company.

Mental Health & Community Resources

At TruYou Psychiatry, we understand that mental health can be affected by many areas of life.

Mental health concerns, housing difficulties, financial stress, food insecurity, access to healthcare, and other challenges can all affect your overall well-being.

We've gathered the following resources to help patients and families find support when they need it.

Are You Experiencing a Mental Health Crisis?

A mental health crisis may involve a situation in which someone is at risk of harming themselves or others, is unable to care for themselves safely, or is experiencing symptoms that require immediate intervention.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, or a mental health crisis, call or text 988.

Crisis Resources

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free and confidential support for people experiencing suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, or a mental health crisis.

Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Georgia Crisis & Access Line

The Georgia Crisis & Access Line provides 24/7 access to crisis services and can help Georgia residents locate appropriate mental health and community resources.

The service can assist with emergency and crisis situations as well as connecting people with appropriate local services. This is one of the state-specific resources on TruYou's existing page.

Running Out of Medication

Running out of medication can feel urgent, particularly when you're concerned that missing medication could affect your stability.

Whenever possible, plan ahead for medication refills, vacations, travel, weekends, and holidays.

TruYou's existing policy explains that after-hours medication requests are evaluated based on urgency and that not every medication qualifies for an emergency refill.

For routine medication refills, please use the normal refill process rather than crisis resources.

Housing & Community Assistance

If you're experiencing difficulties involving housing, food, utilities, transportation, finances, or other essential needs, 211 can help connect you with community resources.
